Prickly Ice was born from one silly, wonderful question — what if a cactus was actually a snow-soft dessert? We shave crystal-fluffy ice by hand, shape it into smiling little desert friends, dot on chocolate "spines," and tuck each one into a garden of mango, strawberry, kiwi and jellies.

Every bowl is sculpted to order, one cactus at a time. They arrive smiling. They leave... well, delicious.

Before you ask…

When does Prickly Ice open?

California opens first — San Diego in spring 2027 — followed by Scottsdale in summer, Honolulu in fall and Detroit in winter. Join the email list below and we'll tell you the day each door opens.

Are the spines actually spiky?

Not even a little. The "spines" are tiny chocolate dots pressed into snow-soft shaved ice. The only thing sharp about Prickly Ice is how cute it looks.

Do you have dairy-free or vegan options?

Lots! Our snow bases start from fruit and ice, and many bowls can be made fully dairy-free. A complete allergen and dietary menu will be posted at every location when we open.

Can I bring Prickly Ice to my city?
